Our WLC family is committed to providing you or your loved one with the utmost quality care in a homelike environment. The staff at each facility understands the importance of balancing quality of life, dignity, care, and respect. No matter if it is short-term rehabilitation or a long-term stay, we welcome you to experience our high standards of care. Our rooms and shared areas have been updated to be more comfortable, functional, and feature the comforts of home. It’s our focus to make our home, your home.
Our Communities
From the moment your loved one wakes up in the morning, our nurses, therapists, and trained staff will be there to help them work and heal throughout the day.
Their day will be filled with three prepared meals cooked by our dietary staff. We encourage you to stop in and try the food! We are very proud of our excellent dining services. Our activities department is always up to something fun. From playing games to spending time outdoors to preparing for upcoming holidays, the staff is constantly working to provide socialization and fun for our residents. Our therapy department will work with your loved one’s physician or surgeon to determine a schedule and goals for these services. Many civic and religious organizations schedule time at our communities to entertain and worship and we are ever so thankful for the communities that give so much to our residents.
History
My grandmother, Wilma Louise Collins, was the inspiration for the name WLC. It is not uncommon for people to ask, “Does WLC stand for With Loving Care?” While it isn’t exactly what I intended, it perfectly describes the woman who inspired it all and the dedication of hundreds of team members who work in these homes every day. My grandmother is a beautiful and caring person that taught and shaped me to become the man I am today. It was only natural and fitting for this business to be named with her in mind. WLC Management Firm, LLC was formed in March of 2017. While we are a new company, our management team brings a combined 150 years of experience in elder care, nursing, and administration. Our mission is simple. We believe in providing the best in quality care, nursing, and life while focusing on increasing health care standards for those in need. No matter the situation, our team is experienced, focused, and driven to provide as much of a homelike environment as possible while providing 24/7 nursing care. Our motto is this: These are the short or long-term homes of the residents, and we have an opportunity to increase their quality of life, happiness, and health by providing exceptional skilled care in a comfortable environment. We understand the situations and emotions involved with choosing the right care community. Our homes cover a broad range of specializations to meet the needs of you or your loved one. We encourage you to stop by and speak with the administrators, the nursing team, our dietary staff, and the dedicated housekeeping employees to learn more. The office staff at WLC is also extremely knowledgeable and will assist you with kindness and compassion.

Each of our communities provides 24/7 skilled nursing care. Each community is also the home to a medical director or medical team of physicians to provide the best in care.
NUTRITIONAL CARE
At all WLC communities, your meals are catered to your specific needs. We follow your physician’s orders and create a plan that will help you feel the best. Even better? Our meals taste great. Plain and simple.
REHAB & THERAPY
Our team of occupational, speech, and physical therapists will work with you and your physician to determine the best plan to reach your goals in the safest means possible. Our therapists are above and beyond the best and we are proud of the excellent care they provide.
HOSPICE & RESPITE CARE
We are proud to work with excellent hospice services in Southern Illinois. Our social services staff, nurses and administrators will work with you and your family to arrange for this care.
SOCIAL SERVICES
We work to provide care plans for each individual and provide excellent communication between our staff, the resident, and their family. Our social services staff are happy to answer any questions you may have.
PHARMACY SERVICES
Your pharmaceutical items will be delivered on site and given to you as administered by our exceptional nursing staff. We are proud to offer you the best in care.

DINING & NUTRITION
We can tell you how we take extra steps to ensure the food we cook for our residents is nutritious, follows each individual’s needs and guidelines from their physician and above all else – tastes good… But we would rather show you. Come in and experience mealtime with us. Just give us a call and let us know when we can serve you!
ACTIVITIES & RECREATION
We take having fun pretty seriously at WLC. Each WLC home has at least one full-time staff member dedicated to creating a social atmosphere while also incorporating arts and crafts, cooking, games, puzzles and visits to area events and attractions. Our resident homes are also very fortunate to receive entertainment from wonderful musicians, performers, religious organizations, youth groups, civic organizations and more. We also host special events around the holidays and other various times during the year for residents and their families to enjoy.

BEAUTY & BARBER SHOP
A trip to the salon can make all the difference in how a person feels. We are proud to offer salon services by trained cosmetologists at all of our communities. No matter if it is a trim and a shave or a new cut or permanent, our salons offer a variety of options for you or your loved one.
Each community hosts different hours for their salon so make sure to check with our social services department to determine a time that works best for your schedule.
